Resolution Run
Start your New Year off right by running or walking the 5km or Fun Run on New Year’s Day. Race will be held on RiverParks at 41st and Riverside Drive. 5km will start at 9:00 am, and the Fun Run will start following the 5km start. Race day packet pick up will begin at 7:30 am. Polar Bear Plunge

Jackson on the west side of the Arkansas River. This unsponsored, social ride attracts cyclists of all skill levels. Some ride a 16 mile route that includes the Sand Springs "Katy" Trail. Others ride more than 30 miles. Participants may park at the River West Festival Park (site of Oktoberfest). Route 66 Regatta
The 19th Annual Tulsa Route 66 Regatta, hosted by the Tulsa Rowing Club and Tulsa Rowing Club Juniors, will feature teams from the 6-state region competing in 1,000-meter sprint races on the Arkansas River, beginning south of the 21st Street Bridge and finishing near the River West Festival Park. Spectators can watch a full slate of high school, college and master's crew races from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The best place to view races is at the Tulsa Rowing Club boathouse, 2100 S. Jackson Ave., near the Reynolds' floating Amphitheatre on the Arkansas River's west bank or along the new eastside trail.

Ride the River Bike Ride
Calling all cyclists! Come out to the River West Festival Park, 2100 South Jackson Avenue, at 6:30 p.m. to register for the River Ride, benefiting River Parks Authority. The River Ride will begin at 7:00 p.m. and finish in time to watch the Tour de France on a huge 25' screen at 8:30 p.m. Free beer & brats will be provided to all who register. Cyclists will have their choice of a 5, 12 or 20 mile loop which begins and ends at the Festival Park. Discounted registration is available online at tomsbicycles.com for $15; on-site registration is $20. Children 12 & under are free!

FreedomFest 2010
Annual July 4th celebration held at the River West Festival Park, 19th & Riverside Drive, and Veterans Park featuring fireworks, entertainment, activities, food & beverages. Fireworks are shot from the 21st Street Bridge at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Starlight Band Concert
Come to River Parks tonight to enjoy the free Starlight Band concert at the River West Festival Park, 2105 South Jackson Avenue. This is the annual Contributor's Concert Swingin' Under the Stars, featuring the Starlight Big Band performing contemporary jazz numbers. Bring cash or a checkbook to bid on great prizes at the annual silent auction. This is part of a five-concert series this year. Concert begins at 8 p.m. and lasts approximately 2 hours. Sound Tribe Sector 9 / Ghostland Observatory in Concert
Concert will be held on the Floating Stage at the River Parks Amphitheater, River West Festival Park, 2100 South Jackson Avenue, Tulsa. Gate will open at 6 p.m., and show will begin at approximately 7 p.m. Tickets are $28.50 advance, $34 day of show, plus ticketing service fees.
